Having completed five years in higher education, I joined PlanB Consulting in 2015. Throughout university, I was always interested in risk analysis, and working in business continuity offers the opportunity to pursue this interest in a fast paced commercial environment.
The variety of clients at PlanB Consulting ensures there are always exciting learning opportunities and challenges. In particular, I enjoy getting to know new customers and learning how we can best help them to overcome their unique business continuity issues.
I have acquired knowledge across a variety of current security issues, allowing me to identify and associate with many of the risks faced by our clients. Using this skill set, I am currently responsible for the delivery of PlanB Consulting's new Travel Security products. I am working with a number of clients to create bespoke travel policies and security guides designed to limit the risks of overseas business travel.
Moreover, I have a keen interest in cyber and information security. This passion has been honed through my involvement in a number of 'cyber exercises' with clients as well as attending the 2016 Scottish Resilience Conference, which focused on how best to protect organisations from cyber threats.
