Roger Broomfield is the Sales and Marketing Manager for PlanB Consulting, raising awareness of our passion for delivering business continuity excellence wherever he goes. He directs the outwards facing communications for the company, as well as creating content that helps organisations understand why they need a robust, rehearsed PlanB.
Roger’s professional background is grounded in business continuity and crisis management, having specialised in emergency response planning and operations in the Oil and Gas industry. He has held a combination of consultancy and operational roles over the last three years, advising and enabling organisations to feel more prepared when disruption strikes. Within these roles, he has planned and delivered large-scale simulated exercises, root and branch capability reviews for FTSE350 companies and challenging environment security briefings.
Roger’s unique blend of broad experiences across the resilience spectrum, passion for a good contingency plan and a creative mindset make him the right person to speak to about your organisation’s business continuity needs.
Before entering the world of resilience, Roger worked as an editor and journalist for a digital media and video gaming website. He holds a master’s degree in English from the University of Aberdeen and a black belt in pub quiz music rounds (self-certified). When he’s not applying red pen liberally to every document he touches, he can be found teaching himself how to play the piano.
